The Clamcleat® CL244/S9 wingfoil boom cleat is ideal for use as part of the wing trailing edge trim system. Use on tubes with diameter 24-27mm (15/16" - 1 1/16"). Supplied complete and ready to fit over rubber covered booms and tubes. Fits 1" stainless steel and carbon tubing. For metal or carbon tubes, a rubber packing piece should be used between the clamp and tube to give a good grip. Can be fitted over smaller tubes by using more rubber. The CL244/S9 clamps onto wingfoil booms as part of an adjustable trailing-edge trim system designed to modify the wing profile while riding. This allows the rider to switch between more power and more control depending on conditions and race situations. (Thanks to Thomas Proust and Matéo Dussarps who originally developed this system.)
