Product overviewThe ROBA-stop M® is a shaft-mounted electromagnetic safety brake designed for standard electric motors. A wide range of sizes, rotor designs and options allows configuration for static holding or dynamic braking tasks. A sealed-housing option is available up to IP66 and a Cold Climate Version (CCV) supports operation down to −40 °C.

Rotor / braking torque options- Dynamic brake: suitable for regular dynamic braking — braking torque approx. 0.7 to 1,400 Nm; max speed 2,500–6,000 rpm
- Holding brake: suitable for occasional dynamic braking / emergency stop — braking torque approx. 4 to 1,800+ Nm; max speed 1,500–6,000 rpm
- Friction lining rotor and fibre composite rotor for lower torques; metal rotor for higher torques (see configurator)
