Our sailboat stands have been independently tested and are certified to a safe working load of 20,000 lbs. (9,100 kgs). Brownell’s maxi sailboat stands are designed for very deep draft boats. They are constructed and operate in the same manner as our more conventional stands. Because of their large size, a ladder is incorporated in the base in order to easily reach the top for adjustment. They fold flat for easy storage and transportation, and are easily assembled with supplied hardware. The use of a chain is crucial with the maxi stands, as well.
