Overview
Boatee Smart 1.3 is a 1.3 kW electric outboard motor designed for quiet, lightweight and sustainable propulsion for tenders and small boats. It provides a compact direct-drive brushless alternative to small petrol outboards with low maintenance and simple operation.

Key features

• Power: up to 1,300 W with 36V or 48V battery; 900 W with 24V battery.

• Range & performance: maximum speed ~5 knots; cruise speed 3 knots; range at 3 knots up to ~6 hours (≈18 nm). Range at full speed ~1.5 hours (≈8.2 nm) when tested on a 3 m inflatable tender with 1 passenger and a 36V 50Ah battery.
• Battery compatibility: compatible with external lithium batteries rated between 24V and 48V able to deliver ≥30 A continuous discharge current.

Design & Materials
Direct-drive brushless motor unit packaged in anodized aluminium and fiber-reinforced plastic body. Propeller options in aluminium or hard plastic with three blades.

Battery notes
The motor is compatible with external lithium batteries (LiFePO4 cells). Range figures quoted are measured using a 36V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery. Boatee offers three battery variants optimized for the motor (different nominal voltages and capacities).
