Overview The ultimate recessed downlight generation. Embedded electronics, latest generation LED, smart. Ghost shape: thanks to an adaptive shape it can be installed both with an additional classic frame or totally without frames, offering the possibility of being invisible when turned off. The frame can be customizable and has to be ordered separately if required.
Light quality The use of a technological material for the lens delivers an incredibly homogeneous enlightened surface; when the downlights are turned off it completely hides all the internal components for an elegant appearance. Light is emitted by 8 OSRAM LEDs arranged following a luminous flux study for optimal result. Standard white temperature is 3.000K (warm white) but other white temperatures are available on request.
Construction & materials Total plastic body eliminates risk of galvanic currents and potential corrosion, making the downlight safe for marine use. Lens material: technological plastic. Heatsink material: dissipative plastic. Uses automotive-certified electronic components to withstand battery voltage peaks and includes an automatic shut-off system to prevent damage from overvoltages.
Electrical & protection Suitable for 24Vdc systems; compatible with 230Vac systems by adding an external power supply unit. Electronics designed to resist voltage peaks up to 60Vdc (device automatically shuts down from 32Vdc up to 60Vdc to prevent damage). Includes protections: polarity reverse, overheating, short circuits, electrostatic charges, voltage peaks. EMC compliant (2014/30/EU). RoHS 2011/65/EU.
User experience Deep dimming from 100% down to 0% (true dimming mode, not simple PWM) for smooth intensity changes. Fade in / fade out effect on turn ON/OFF to soften light changes. Overheating protection: device is designed to never overheat and includes a protection that turns the system off in case of overheating.
Form factor & mechanical Reduced encumbrance: total height only 44.4 mm allowing installation where spaces are limited. Projector dimensions: Diameter 50 mm x thickness 44,4 mm. Super lightweight due to use of plastics in screen and heatsink, contributing to overall weight reduction.
Applications IP68 waterproof rating enables installation in internal rooms and external corridors; ideal for marine environments and where waterproof recessed lighting is required.
