Unlike standard windshields, an American Marine custom windshield will enhance and complement the styling and functionality of the boat, setting it apart from the others. The framing system of the Bluewater curved windshield is fully welded, which provides strength and durability not found in mechanically framed windshields. This construction technique allows for the use of front opening vents or side wing vents not available in many curved windshields. Boats designed for use in temperate climates can thus have the advantage of opening vents to increase cockpit air flow.
