The OVNI 370 answers to the challenge launched by the Alubat shipyard: design a 100% aluminum sailboat with lifting keel integrating the design criteria of blue water cruising (A category) on a sailboat less than 12m long and less than 4m wide.
In close collaboration with the naval architecture design offices Mortain/Mavrikios and CBA, the OVNI 370 is part of the new generation design of OVNI.
With her chined hull, her rounded and inverted bow, the OVNI 370 benefits from a very soft wave passage and great performance under sails.
Reactive, she charms all those who have tested her and enchants her owners.
"Once settled on her chine, she is like on a rail, we can sail without the autopilot!" told us some.
Thanks to her panoramic deckhouse and her raised saloon, the watches can be ensured from the inside in the greatest comfort.
Designed for reduced crew navigation, all manoeuvres are centralized in the cockpit on the roof.
The lifting keel allows access to places in shallow waters or to run aground while remaining flat. This is the bottom of the hull on which the OVNI 370 lands and not her rudders.
It is also a safety criteria since you can enter a maximum of ports without worrying about the tide.
Life on board is pleasant thanks to many spaces where you can settle while enjoying the outside.
The numerous storage spaces and the technical room make her truly a sailboat dedicated to the long range cruising.
