This ‘Wave Pilot’ class boat is off to Angola to serve on an LNG terminal for Angola LNG. The new class was designed for Alnmaritec by Camarc Limited and is a robust, no nonsense style of pilot boat. She has exceptional seakeeping characteristics, a very handy turn of speed and superb manoeuvrability which her a joy to travel on. She is fitted with day accommodation below decks and seating for up to 8 pilots in the spacious wheelhouse. Externally she has a full Hadrian rail system, MOB recovery platform at the stern and she is fitted with the ‘Popsure’ fender system to provide excellent protection when alongside the tankers. All in all she is an outstanding performer and would provide full all weather pilotage capability to any port in the world.
