Landing craft ALN 157 ‘Concordia Baby’

Based on the popular Wave Supplier class this rugged landing craft was specially designed for service in the Falkland Islands. Launched from mother ship ‘Concordia’ she will be required to transports goods, equipment, passengers and livestock to the many difficult to reach locations within the archipelago. She is very robustly built to cope with the rigours of coastal operations and is fitted with powerful engines and stern drives giving her good speed and exceptional manoeuvrability for operations in this part of the world. A substantial loading ramp is installed at the front end of the deck which is specifically designed to load a Land Rover or small JCB off a beach or slipway.
