The B17-HP, high-precision temperature sensor responds quickly and accurately to temperature changes. The 25 mm (1") bronze button on the sensor’s face along with the specialized fast-response thermistor provide a five-second time constant and ±0.3ºC (±0.17ºF) accuracy. This Smart™ Sensor can output precision-temperature data to a fishfinder, chart plotter, digital display, or computer. The top-of-the-line B17-HP is ideal for commercial and sport-fishing applications, helping skippers detect thermal boundaries and eddies which attract bait concentrations and game fish. Features High-precision water-temperature sensing Retractable insert in a bronze housing with a water valve Nearly flush, low-profile housing minimizes drag with only 5 mm (3/16") extending outside the hull Temperature insert easily fits into an existing Airmar housing NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000® versions available Airmar’s Smart™ Sensor technology Specifications Weight: 1.3 kg (2.8 lb.)
