The basic principle of operation of this pump is the use of two vacuum tanks that fill and empty reciprocally and thus create a continuous flow of fish with an hourly capacity of 4 – 12 tons.
This capacity is dependent on two factors: the size and weight of the fish and the fish density, i.e. the number of fish sucked into the funnel.
The pump is also available as a single tank model which features half the transport capacity of the dual tank model as there is an operational break while the tank is discharging and getting ready again.
In most situations the single tank version is sufficient. The high-mounted tanks are built into a painted or galvanised frame. They are easily cleaned after use taking advantage of gravity.
The pumps are available with 6" or 8" outlet.
Our fish pumps work fully automatic. The air-driven valves which switch suction from tank to tank are powered by a compressor which is built into the frame. It is removable and can also be used for other purposes. The outlet height can be adjusted by means of three support legs to up to 2.5 m above ground.
