Boat light dimmers are electronic devices used either to vary the intensity of one or several lights, or to control pre-programmed mood lighting by changing brightness and/or colors, in the case of LEDs. Models featured on NauticExpo are for leisure craft.
ApplicationsSuch dimmers are used primarily aboard luxury yachts to create a variety of lighting options or simply to change the color of LED illumination.
TechnologiesDevices designed to change brightness are generally basic rheostats modifying the voltage reaching the lamp. Varying color and programmed lighting display requires printed circuits, sometimes with computer chips. Multi-channel dimmers can control several groups of lights simultaneously.
