The new Starlight 375 is the first brand new Starlight for some years. Designed by Stephen Jones, the new boat builds on the strengths of the existing models, and offers more performance and more accommodation, without compromising the aesthetic appeal or indeed the performance.
OVERALL
The forward hull shape provides the 375 with a gentle motion when going to windward in a choppy sea, without the discomfort of slamming into the waves. A lead antimony keel which is bolted to a deep keel stub provides a low centre of gravity and a correspondingly stiff boat. The keel stub itself contains a deep bilge which prevents any water from running into the accommodation when the boat is heeled. A large balanced rudder makes the Starlight an easy boat to handle under sail or power the overall effect is that the boat will maintain directional stability without constant attention to the wheel. The powerful rig has a self tacking headsail as standard.
INTERIOR
The Starlight 375 has a superb cruising interior with high quality joinery. The layout offers space and comfort combined with practicality in a boat designed for offshore performance cruising. Two saloon settees serve as comfortable sea berths with lee cloths provided as standard. An owner's cabin is situated forward, with en suite heads and shower. Two double guest cabins aft have access to the aft heads. A well fitted galley has double sinks, refrigerator and gimballed cooker with oven and grill. There is considerable stowage space outboard of and below the worktop. A forward facing chart table with instrument console and comfortable seating ensures safe working in rough conditions.

The 42 is a classic looking yacht with moderate height to the topsides, a sweet sheerline, pleasing overhangs and a long, wide and low cabin top. The 42 is intended to add a performance element to other essential blue water attributes like directional stability, stiffness and good load carrying ability. Below the waterline she looks conservative, with a deep canoe body, long fin keel and a big skeg hung rudder.
Below decks you will find a very spacious open plan saloon with a large, beautifully finished saloon table, which seats eight comfortably with both leaves extended. There are storage lockers above and behind the port and starboard seating areas, with bookcases, bottle storage and lee cloths to port and starboard fitted as standard.
The forward facing chart table will easily take a folded admiralty chart, plus the usual aids to navigation and a customised ships control panel. Charts can be stowed in the chart drawer under the pilot berth.

Mal Yachts 46 is our biggest yacht and is almost 47 feet long with standard transom.
Designed by Leif ngermark , the hull of the Mal 46 offers her owner a very manoeuvrable boat under sail and power. This is not surprising when you take into account her sweet lines, maximum waterline length and beam thus ensuring excellent stability.

The Oyster 46 is a very powerful yacht, almost certainly best in class for righting movement and form stability, with a hull and deck that are lighter, stronger and stiffer than her predecessors. Add to this more beam, a much longer waterline and significantly more sail area and the whole equation adds up to a significant improvement in performance.
Her large cockpit benefits from the extra beam and lessons learnt from professional ergonomic studies and years of sailing experience. The 46 offers good headroom throughout with a three-cabin accommodation layout, allowing six to sleep in comfort, without using the saloon. The owner enjoys en-suite facilities, whilst the forward two cabins share a comfortable heads and shower.
The Oyster 46 really is more revolution than evolution, so if you are looking for a new benchmark in this size range take a closer look and stand by to be impressed.

Since our founding in 1972, Morris yachts have earned a reputation as the epitome of traditional-styled cruising sailboats. However, in many ways the new MY48 is anything but traditional.
One look at her and you know that this is a 21st-century product. The 30-year-old Morris philosophy that developed a broad range of traditionally designed and constructed sailboats might appear out of step by our latest design concepts. Building a lighter weight hull, engineered for strength and long legs at sea, carries forward our tradition built on past experience. The 48 hull was engineered with bi-axial knitted fabrics, longitudinal and transverse structural members and reinforced with unidirectional fabrics and vinylester resin throughout.
Designed for ease of handling, the 48 has a double-spreader swept-back rig with outboard chain plates. A small headsail overlap at 104% of fore triangle provides excellent sailing performance at all wind angles. To cruise coastal areas or oceans of the world she can be fitted with a shoal or deep draft keel.
