The Young 69 is an extraordinary design proposal for a very special client from Italy. This design concept is very progressive and makes a statement in aesthetics, high performance and practical usages. The client is a racing car driver and has a very distinctive Italian style that makes this design unique.
Designed for Mediterranean sailing conditions the Young 69 is capable of sailing at 45deg upwind and will fly a hull in moderate conditions thanks to the state of the art rig design and high tech construction. This is a catamaran for a sailor who likes to get the maximum enjoyment out of sailing and the Young 69 is designed to be pushed to the limit.
Unusually for a catamaran this size, there are only 2 guest cabins and 1 crew cabin. However the two guest cabins are supremely luxurious and very spacious and feature upmarket fixtures and fittings in all areas. The bridge deck master cabin is an amazing use of space you really feel like you are in an upmarket apartment.
The starboard hull is designed to accommodate 2 crew, one is a chef and the other a general hand to clean the boat and help as needed. The owner intends to do all the sailing himself. The open inside/outside saloon is ideal for entertaining large groups of people making this design ideal for cooperate events. Other layouts are available by request.
