With this Yapluka 100’ Double Deck, we will be going over the 30 metre mark which, for a catamaran, makes for outstanding opportunities in terms of the interior layout. In addition to the owner’s cabin and independent crew’s quarters, we can plan for at least four double guest cabins.
Everything on these yachts over 100 feet long is enormous: a great sail of 265 square feet and a spinnaker of 500 square metres for example ! Each part and every element on these boats is unique. The design and construction of such structures are real feats. Everything has to be proportioned to cope with the enormous tension which, considering the area of sail, demands much from the rigging in particular.
