Add a little extra power to your day with Yamaha’s Portable F9.9 and F8. Our 212-cc 8-hp portable outboard features 7.5 percent more displacement than its previous design. This SOHC two cylinder outboard delivers a nice balance of power, performance and portability for jon boats and inflatables. Its new, shorter tiller handle makes operation more comfortable, so you can make a whole day of it. An acceleration pump on the F9.9 and F8 gives these engines the fuel they need--when they need it--like during rapid throttle advance. This ensures responsive acceleration. An intake silencer and manifold on the F9.9 and F8 result in more direct airflow, for minimum noise and maximum power.
