Description

A tangerine sunrise alights the shore as you load up the gear for a morning of coastal fishing. Your buddies are rearing to go—as are your twin V6 Offshore outboards. Known for their power, efficiency, and outstanding reliability, Yamaha’s V6 4.2-liter outboards are some of the most trusted V6’s on the water. They’re also some of the nimblest, with integrated digital electric steering. This makes them more responsive than ever. Our V6 Offshore outboards have proven once again that even a trusted favorite can take an exciting turn. Our 4.2-liter F300 is a reliable, offshore favorite—and it's only getting better. It now features a fresh, new cowling design (with engine-mounted Propeller Indicator Lights if rigged with Helm Master® EX), new integrated digital electric steering*, and rerouted exhaust for enhanced reverse thrust. It’s destined to be a top choice offshore for years to come. Recommended fuel: 89 Octane Shaft lengths available: 25”, 30”, and 35” (30" and 35” on F300 DEC only) Alternator output: up to 70 amp Available in signature Yamaha gray, pearlescent white, and classic white The V6 Offshore® 300 is compatible with a range of mechanical or digital controls, gauges, and props to suit your preference for performance, control, and the display of data. Explore compatible components below and contact your dealer for rigging expertise. Yamaha’s 4.2-liter V6 Offshore outboards feature plasma-fused sleeveless cylinder walls, which are 60 percent harder than steel. That means larger cylinder bores for increased displacement, resulting in more power and torque, without increasing outer cylinder dimensions.
