The basic system consists of a volume chamber, capillary pipe and a pressure indicator. The volume chamber is connected to a pressure indicator through a capillary pipe. When the tank liquid rises the air will be compressed in the volume chamber and a counter pressure will prevent the liquid to go into the capillary pipe. The static pressure in the system will now be the same as the liquid column in the tank. This construction ensures that the gauge not will be in touch with the tank fluid. Can be delivered with scale in level and/or volume according to tank tables. Delivered ready for mounting with stainless steel capillary pipe with flexible protection between volume chamber and pressure indicator. Class approved (DNV).
