The X-34 has been designed and specified to deliver the best of both worlds: Highly competitive on the racecourse as an IRC flyer one weekend. Then the following weekend capapable of taking the whole family out for lazy cruising and entertaining. Production Years: 2007 — 2013 Number Built: 144 X-Yachts has focused on high quality performance-oriented cruisers and racing yachts since the yard was founded in 1979. Throughout the eighties, X-Yachts models hâve won nine officiai ORC World Championship titles, and they hâve topped the podium at the Admiral's Cup and the Commodores' Cup on several occasions. Many victories hâve been achieved in international IRC and IMS Championships. The X-34 has been a proven winner under ORCi. In autumn 2010, X-Yachts reveiled the next génération of cruiser-racer with the new Xp 44, a boat designed to set new standards of sailing expérience. The Xp 44 will be followed up by the Xp 38. With X-Yachts expérience gained from building more than 6,000 yachts for the yachting market in performance cruising and racing, the decision was taken in 2006 to build a completely new and dedicated cruising yacht: the Xc 45. Apart from the Xc 45, the total Xcruising range now consists of the Xc 38, the Xc 42 and the Xc 50. The X-Yachts range now embraces three lines; each representing one of the characteristic three X-Yachts waterlines.
