The RescueRaft™ is ideal for day sailing on lakes or bays, and inshore sailboat races (meets ORC categories 3 and 4). While not intended to be used as a life raft in offshore or coastal situations, the RescueRaft™ provides a means of getting survivors off the sinking boat and keeping them out of the water to help prevent hypothermia and drowning and making survivors more visible to Search and Rescue while waiting for help to arrive.
