Developed at Windy Boats Hi Tec production facility at Vastervick, Sweden, the latest techniques in vacuum injection moulding were used to produce a significantly stronger yet lighter, fuel efficient, high performance hull.
A triple Volvo IPS 600 was chosen with the mid engine located forward of the port and starboard units to improve the balance, smoothness of the drive train and to increase performance. With a top speed of 46 knots and cruising speed of 40 knots the SR52 Blackbird delivers a range of 450-480 miles, delivering its passengers ashore in uprecedented style, speed and comfort.
