The Whitehall Spirit 14 single slide seat sculling model is perfect for health and exercise rowing offering double the calorie burn of jogging or tennis with no risk of tendon or joint damage. This boat is seaworthy and stable and can handle rough ocean conditions. The Slide seat unit can be quickly removed and a bench thwart installed converting it to a traditional rowboat that carries up to four people with two traditional rowing stations. It can also be purchaced as a sailing model featuring a drop daggerboard or a cast bronze centerboard kick up rudder and tiller with an attractive standing lug sail rig.
