The sailing model of Whitehall Spirit 17 row boat delights everyone from the beginner to the most ardent sailor with it’s ability to sail comfortably with three or four adults aboard, carry picnic supplies or camping gear, and sail in shallow water due to its kick up rudder and bronze centerboard . All the midship bench thwarts are removable for ease of crew movement while sailing and can be replaced easily if the wind drops converting it back to into an efficient rowboat with three traditional rowing stations that handles from one to five people.
It is available with an option of one or two easily installed or removed sliding seat sculling units and bronze hinged outriggers which convert it to a sliding seat sculling boat.
These attractive boats are built to impeccable standards with a lapstrake style fiberglas hull solid teak woodwork and bronze fittings. They will handle serious usage for generations.
