The sailing model of Whitehall Spirit 14 rowboat delights everyone from the beginner to the most ardent sailor with it’s ability to sail comfortably with two or three adults aboard. It features an attractive standing lug rig with varnished sitka spruce spars and booms, teak blocks, and sails by UK sailmakers. A solid teak kick up rudder and and drop daggerboard are standard. A cast bronze kickup centerboard is available.. The aft bench thwart is removable while sailing and can be replaced easily if the wind drops converting it back to into the best available double position rowboat that handles from one to four people..
It is available with an option of one or two easily installed or removed sliding seat sculling units and bronze hinged outriggers which convert it to a sliding seat sculling boat.
These boats are built to impeccable standards with lapstrake style fiberglass hull with solid teak woodwork and bronze fittings. They will handle serious usage in rough ocean conditions and are built to last generations.
