Fixed pitch propellers are used when the optimal propeller design is known or can be calculated. It is also assumed that the user does not require the same level of functionality that a controllable pitch propeller can offer. West Mekan stocks propellers with diameters in the range 12–25” with both right-handed and left-handed rotation with 3 or 4 blades and with or without skew.



Larger propellers are designed depending on the vessel and according to the client’s specifications. Propellers can be supplied with diameters up to 3 m and with 2–6 blades. The propellers comply with the highest tolerance classes.
