The transmitter is carried by the individual on a belt or directly integrated into alife jacket. Its small size and lightweight (12 cm and 130 grams) makes it easy and unobtrusive to carry.

Once activated, the sophisticated electronics of the transmitter provide in excess of 6 hours a continuous signal.

The lifetime of the battery is six years. An algorithm integrated in the antenna circumvents any false alarm.
