Portable self-propelled pontoons and float platforms Water Witch Workboats offer a unique range of road transportable easy to handle self propelled aluminium pontoons to provide the ultimate work platform. Our range starts from only 3.0m LOA - these highly portable, lightweight self propelled pontoons are designed specifically for working on difficult to access inland rivers and waterways. The floating work platform is shallow draughted and can be easily towed by 4 x 4 vehicle and launched off our customised twin axle tilt trailer. To facilitate easy handling built in lifting points are provided as standard, together with heavy duty winch points fore and aft for pulling up river banks. Fitted with a 6hp remote operated motor complete with helm unit and quick-connect system for easy removal of the engine when required. The unit can also be fitted with a tiller controlled engine if preferred. The propeller is protected with a heavy duty stainless steel guard for working in shallow waters. The aluminium treadplate deck incorporates removable tubular handrails featuring special drop down bars and a safety toe rail protects hand tools from going overboard. . These modular motorised pontoons are available in various sizes from 3m to 9m and can be interconnected if required. In common with all Water Witch builds, larger platforms are designed to ship in a standard shipping container using our unique bolt-together assembly system.
