The Wärtsilä RT-flex58T and RTA58T provide excellent power and speed reliability for a wide variety of ship types, such as Handysize and Handymax up to Capesize and Suezmax.
Available in 5-cylinder up to 8-cylinder configuration, the Wärtsilä RT-flex58T and RTA58T low-speed engines cover a power range from 7900 to 18,800 kW at 105 to 90 rpm.
The Wärtsilä RT-flex58T and RTA58T engines are fully compliant with the IMO Tier II exhaust emissions regulations set out in Annex VI of the MARPOL 73/78 convention.
