The construction of Vismara's latest project, the Vismara 62' Sport, continues. This is the sporting craft with which Vismara will be making its return to top-level racing, in the mini maxi and open classes. However, this boat is not just for racing; it will also be used for cruising with a smaller crew.  All this thanks to the integrated technical equipment and fittings, such as a carbon mast and boom with concealed rig and halyards and main sheet controls and halyards sent to the cockpit with new counter turning electric winches with variable speeds.
All lines will be concealed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency. The keel will be retractable and telescopic, with draught varying from 2.40 m to 3.60 m, without taking up any space in the dinette while maximising craft stability. 
The whole craft will be in carbon fibre with structural sandwich interiors, so as to achieve a seriously reduced weight, fitted out, to the benefit of the ballast ratio, which will be 46%.   The hull is to have small planing profiles in the stern.  
The helm station and navigation screens will be integrated into a deck geometry that will include a deckhouse with glazed front to offer wide visibility from the inside. The interior layout will include the innovative placing of bathrooms at the far ends of the craft, fore and aft, to increase living space and also lighten the ends of the boat; this in turn means better passage over the waves.
