Sailboat : cruising sailing-yacht (carbon mast)
K9
Vismara
- 16.1m
52' 10"ft
The V50' - K9 is the first example to be made for the META project, and it was designed as part of an efficient co-project between the Vismara boatyard and the architect, Guido Spadolini, well-known member of a family of important boat owners. The Meta project is a new proposal from Vismara, a means of giving customers a new way of sailing: a boat that corresponds to the quality characteristics/ethos of Vismara concerning "lightweight sailing", with "controllable" costs and of interest to the marketplace. To do this, it was decided to industrialise the process, from design through to building, sales and scheduled assistance and servicing. The Vismara 50'- K9 is the poster boat that will be taking the Vismara and Spadolini names around, especially to regattas. Careful though, because even if this Vismara 50' K9 is optimised for light winds, built in high-tech composites and has a light displacement, it is not a racer. This is the state-of-the-art for the fast cruiser concept, since applying the concept of extreme performance to the design gives "everyday" users the opportunity to enjoy top performance without losing any of the comfort and safety that cruisers want from their craft. An ultra-special hull, similar to the one used on the Volvo 70 makes this boat able to plane and reach high speeds under both engine and sail power and it is able to face the sea in all conditions. The keel is fixed with an end bulb in lead-antimony weighing 4,000 kg. A ballast ratio of just under 50% guarantees great stability to the Vismara 50'-K9°.
