Cruising sailboat (twin steering wheel, 3 cabins)
ARIANNA
Vismara
- 14.5m
47' 7"ft
The "Class 47" is a project for standard production in series of a sports cruiser that would be both classy and lasting, with a classical style and construction materials, as used by the boat yard, Class Yacht, but totally modern when it came to the design of the hull, deck, sail plan and appendages by the studio. The similar size and same intended use have inevitably led to a transfer of the experience gained with "Vagula, the classic, elegant Baltic 47 custom, to the "Class 47".
A whole lot of new technical and design features have come from the very latest Fast Cruisers, the Vismara 45' and Vismara/Farr 65' "MisterA". The deck plan has in fact been made extremely simple, with just 4 winches aft and under-deck lines, piped and organized with stoppers, aft. The cockpit is open and has two steering wheels, which emphasises the sporting feel of the design. Typical VYD solutions, such as the gangway also serving as a bench for the person at the helm and therefore stored when not in used, and the anchor system that is recessed inside the hull, which is taken out by telescopic and pneumatic boom, showing only the anchor flukes when idle.
