Description

High power and torque, low revolutions, ruggedness, reliability, high build quality and durability are the primary characteristics of the VETUS D-line marine diesel engines.
*VETUS D-line engines from 114 hp (84 kW) are eminently suitable to drive power hydraulics systems on board. They are supplied as standard with a Power Take Off (PTO), to which a suitable flange and hydraulic motor (available as option) can be easily connected. The resultant hydraulic power can be used to drive a bow and stern thruster, anchor windlass, mast lowering device, power steering, stabilizers and many other applications.
*From 114 hp to 210 hp the VETUS D-line engines are available in two versions: mechanically or electronically regulated. The electronic version offers higher fuel efficiency.
*A larger alternator and/or a second alternator can be supplied as an option. From 114 hp (84 kW), these can be supplied as 12 or 24 Volt and in single or double pole version.
*All VETUS D-line engines are supplied with a front drive belt cover for personal protection.
