New to the range of marine diesel engines is the VETUS DEUTZ engine, model DT4.70.
This engine, based on a turbo-charged 2.29 litre DEUTZ 4 cylinder industrial engine has an output of 50 kW (68 hp) at 2800 r.p.m.
Coupled with the reknowned vibration free DEUTZ base engine, the use of sophisticated marinisation techniques and high quality materials guarantee reliability, smoothness and longevity.
During the course of 2010, engine model DTA4.85 will be introduced. This engine will have the addition of an aftercooler, boosting the output to 62 kW (85hp) at 3000 r.p.m.
