GRAPHCAD converter 3D® is the Vetigraph solution for the setting flat of the gauges 2D constitutive of a file 3D. Converter 3D enables you to create your gauges of cutting 2D according to your form 3D for prototyping in order to reduce in a consequent way the completion date and the costs while preserving forms original absolutely identical to your design 3D.

Using an exclusive process of unfolding – respecting the physical characteristics of materials - validated by the industrialists, GRAPHCAD Converter 3D® builds gauges precise 2D, starting from forms 3D.

A new optimized algorithm allows the unfolding of surface made up of more than 100.000 triangles.

The results can be transferred towards GraphCAD Marker for the automatic placement or all other materials from the Vetigraph range. an export in DXF AAMA allows compatibility with all the systems of the market.

Calculations of the deformations, the tensions and the normal pressures allow a thorough analysis and an early detection of the problems of feasibility and wear.

An engine of posting 3D brings an immediate realistic sight of the virtual prototypes. The application of a texture representative of fiber makes it possible to observe the orientation of fibers for the composite parts. A visualization in real time of the orientation of a gauge 2D on roving makes it possible to recompute the distortions according to the selected elastic model.
