The VQHV-ISO high velocity pressure vacuum valve prevents pressure and vacuum to build-up during loading, discharge, transport and storage.

VQHV-ISO is also capable of preventing the passage of flames in case of ignition or fire outside the tank atmosphere.Separate pressure and vacuum valves are elegantly integrated in a single housing. If the pressure in the tank falls below a pre-set level the vacuum valve opens and air isdrawn into the tank through a flame trap. In the event of overpressure, the release valve opens. At the same time an additional valve at the top of the housing ensures that venting is upwards at high velocity, to avoid concentrations of gas on deck.
