The propellers of Van Voorden are designed and manufactured in our foundry in Zaltbommel according to the specification of the client. In order to anticipate the market with regard to propellers with a high capacity density, Van Voorden has developed, together with MARIN, a unique and highly advanced expert system for the design and analyses of ship propellers. With this system new designs are achieved through a mix of knowledge from previously made propellers and new assessments. With this expert system, we are now also able to recommend you the choice of your propulsion system during the early stages of ship design.
