SVM Vacmobiles

The Vacmobile SVM series is a heavy duty modular vacuum system for composites applications such as large resin infusions, the RTM Light process and vacuum bagging over pre-preg and wet laid laminates. Vacuum pump and resin trap modules can be selected to suit specific needs. As with other Vacmobile vacuum systems for composites, the SVM series delivers excellent vacuum to the vacuum bag, allowing increased productivity and improved quality.

The SVM system consists of a sturdy mobile docking station and single phase power source that will accommodate either 1 or 2 vacuum pumps and 1 or 2 resin traps. The vacuum pump and resin trap modules latch into position on the docking station without tools, allowing exceptionally simple pump servicing and exchange. The resin trap(s) and resin trap controls may be located remotely from the docking station. This can be helpful when infusing physically large parts, where it can suit to have the resin trap close to the point of use, while leaving the vacuum source some distance away. All demountable vacuum hose connections use the unique Vacmobile O-ring sealed gland system for simple to use, high integrity joints. No mastic required!

With 2 pumps and 2 resin traps, each pump/trap pair can be regulated independently of the other. This SVM configuration is therefore ideal for production scale RTM Light applications.
