Forecast for the spring of 2010, the launch of this new boat, effectively represents the beginning of a new era. Conceived with the same principles that have inspired previous successful products of the yard, this boat is able to satisfy both the new demands of sobriety and concreteness which come from a changed approach to the sea and the requirements of higher comfort and liveability which come from an open of large dimensions. The boat has simple and maritime forms, typical of the Tornado style, elegant and durable, which guarantee a long life and a lasting investment. The hull, one of our strong points and of confirmed efficiency, is of American extraction,and has a deep V shape and a rounded keel towards the stern. Volvo's IPS ( Inboard Performance System ) engines which are light and small provide efficient propulsion and excellent manoeuvrability, with a low fuel consumption and emissions. The scope of the project has been to build a large ocean going vessel, the ideal continuation of our relationship with the over 400 owners of the a Tornado 38'. This choice, combined with a generous beam has allowed us to increase the deck area and the internal volumes, without altering the relationship between quality and price which has always been the strength of the Tornado brand.
