This 24' Superboat is owned by Gene Barabash, aka "Superbash" of Amity Harbor, N.Y. At 78.4 MPH (GPS). Bash's Superboat holds the fastest documented speed of any single engine 24' Superboat. It's powered by a 300X Mercury outboard, turning a 24" Chopper II prop. Bash also had Superboat fabricate a custom enclosure for a gas pedal, ensuring two hands on the wheel while riding in the ruff stuff. It also comes in handy when shooting videos. This is'nt Bash's first Superboat, which explains the way he drives. You can always find him cruising the Great South Bay. Even in the winter! This guy really loves his Superboat.
