The perfected construction-principle of a modern rib framed yacht with fin-keel, essentially justifies the speed potential of the SUNBEAM 39 on all courses, but also gives perfect cruising qualities with balanced sea handling and manoeuvrability. The fine fore-ship guarantees a quiet and soft motion into a sea.
The built-in rib framework of the inner shell and laminated bulkheads achieve extremely high torsional strength. Extra hull reinforcement in the keel area and reinforcement plus a collision bulkhead in the bow area add to the safety features of the yacht. A feeling of security accompanies you on the SUNBEAM 39 from bow to stern; the strongly braced pulpit with teak step,(divided for a safer exit), stable double railings 60cm high, a divided pushpit with steps, the stern spoiler with folding bathing ladder, a safety rail around the mast (option), a self stowing anchor system including anchor winch, hand railings on coach roof, rubber trim on the edges of the stern as a buffer and replaceable rubber insert strips in the rubbing strips, all attribute to this feeling.
