We at Bill's Engineering have designed a new 4 to 6.5 hp motor to cater to the needs of small boat owners. The new Junior Stump-Jumper can be powered by Tecumseh, Honda or Briggs & Stratton 4, 5, 6 and 6.5 hp motors. There may be other engine brands that will work with the Junior Stump-Jumper. The only requirements the small engine must have are a 3/4" crankshaft, and a standard 3/16" keyway. Lighweight Junior Stump-Jumpers are easy to manage. They can be removed from the boat in seconds with a quick release pin, and the transom clamp stays on the boat. The Junior has a lightweight 5 foot driveshaft. The total weight of the kit is 33 pounds, and a small engine weighs approximately 25 pounds, bringing the total weight of the Junior Stump-Jumper to approximately 58 pounds. (This weight is with a 4 hp Tecumseh.) The Junior also works great on square stern, or flatback, canoes.
