Built in 1995 by Steiner Shipyard, Inc. the Pushboat Capt. Jim is an all steel welded hull and main deck superstructure with an all aluminum wheel house. The wheel house is designed to be raised by hydraulic ram for added visibility. The vessel is fitted with knot nozzles for maximum performance and hydraulic steering to include two main rudders and four flanking rudders, assuring maneuverability.
