The Solent Rib 540 was originally designed for sailing clubs acting as a multi purpose use rib. This rib has a basic layout it is easy to use and gives the owner confidence with its stability and practical handling. It aims to appeal to rib users who want a rib that is easy to use and acts as a general runabout. Easy to launch and recover, easy to tow behind an ordinary family size car. The rib was also built to have space within the rib so it could carry 4 divers & their equipment. Since launching this rib we have also added features for the pleasure market - the rear bench seat, double jockey consoles and stylish A frame.
