The smallest and lightest of Carmanah's 700-series marine lanterns, the 701-5 offers three nautical miles of visibility in a fully integrated, self-contained and watertight package. Well suited for areas with low solar illumination, the 701-5 offers up to five years of reliable, maintenance-free operation on just 1.5 hours of winter sunlight each day.
Like all 700-series lanterns, the 701-5 offers more than 200 flash patterns, user programmability, replaceable batteries, and of course, Carmanah's patented Microsource™ technology - an integrated energy management system that adapts light levels and energy usage to the environment. For maximum versatility, 701-5 lanterns are available with light output in any one of IALA's four international chromaticity colors: green, red, amber or white.
