The pontoon series Nettuno Catamarano is an evolution of Ocean pontoon directly required by the market, which, nowadays, is asking for more and more enjoyable and wide as well as stable pontoons suitable to moor vessels whose dimensions are constantly growingup. Therefore the main characteristics of this pontoon are sturdiness and steadiness. The pontoon consists of a strong supporting framework (UNP 220 main beams) made of electrowelded hot-dip galvanised steel bars (up-grade DUPLEX treatment). It is supported by N. 8 concrete floats with high density polystyrene foam core disposed in catamaran layout. The decking is made of precious exotic wooden staves fixed with stainless steel bolts and screws. Moreover, the pontoon is provided with lateral duct covers to house the equipment. They are finished, with wooden continuous fenders. A modular holes system is peculiar to side beams and allows the connection of mooring accessories (rings, fingers, etc). The head is preset longitudinal connection tf more modules through a semi-elastic "silent-block" system formed by neoprene shock absorbers and stainless steel bolts and screws. Sturdiness is increased by steel plates placed in the junction area.
