The Simrad ES60 is the third generation split beam echo sounder from Simrad. The Simrad ES60 Split beam echo sounder comprises a display, a processor unit (personal computer), one or more General Purpose Transceiver (GPT) units and one or more split beam transducers. The transceiver unit is normally mounted close to the transducer. This prevents noise from being picked up by a long transducer cable.
