Sediment Accumulation Monitor (SAM)
The Shark Marine Sediment Accumulation Monitor Software (SAM) is designed to be implemented with a
rotating, profiling sonar head attached to an azimuth drive. This type of sonar system is capable of generating a series of profile scans (slices) through a 360 degree arc. This data is used by the SAM software to provide critical information to determine sediment levels, rate of increase, and historical data analysis over the area covered. This data is displayed in a user friendly graphical display, for
ease of use, and quick assessment of the conditions of the monitored area.
