Description

The ballast water management convention will soon go in force. According to the IMO MEPC requirements, any member states' vessels with international navigation certificate---newly built ships and operational ships should be equipped with ballast water management system (BWMS) within the given time. Any vessels without BWMS are prohibited making harbor and handling operations. The Cyeco BWMS is applied to treat and manage ballast water in on-going vessels according to the requirements of the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship's Ballast Water and Sediments issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 2004. Under the control of the Cyeco BWMS, the ballast water discharge satisfies the D-2 standard so as to prevent, minimize and eliminate environment, human health, and resources risks caused by transfers of harmful aquatic organisms and pathogens. Cyeco™ BWMS System Characteristics 1.Totally chemical-free process; 2.Compact design &minimized footprint; 3.User-friendly for easy installation & maintenance; 4.Human Machine Interface with in-touch screen; 5.High-quality material & long service life; 6.Less waste drainage & sediment. Cyeco™ BWMS System Description The Cyeco™ BWMS features two-stage process, applying efficient automatic filtration to remove larger organisms and sediments followed by powerful medium pressure UV unit to disinfect and inactivate smaller plankton, bacteria and pathogens.
