The S-1 is designed for riders who require a light and manoeuvrable sail that encompasses the technological advances in materials and shaping. The S-1 uses a flatter profile, a tighter skin tension and manoeuvre-biased geometry to respond at the speed of light, allowing precision placement of the rig for any wave or freestyle manoeuvre.

The lightest sail in the range just got lighter. At the pinnacle of windsurfing materials technology, e4 has developed into the new, brighter e5 and shed 25% of its weight. The 2011 S-1 is lighter, has a lower swing weight, more compact, more durable due to a reduction of seams and has been stripped back maintaining only essential technology and materials.
