Sealift2 docks are self-contained, floating platforms which do not require valuable waterfront land. Washoff from the cleaning operation is collected and stored onboard for later disposal. We also have an optional on board waste water treatment plant, which removes oils and dissolved metals from all washoff rendering it safe to discharge directly into the sea in accordance with EU Regulations on Urban Waste Water Treatment - Directive 9/271/EEC.
Installation of our docks is straightforward and you will not incur any of the expensive civil engineering costs, which are typically associated with the installation of a travel lift. Our dock can be moored to a quayside or secured by piles or seabed anchors.
Boats are supported above the waterline (no strops getting in the way) enabling you to lift, inspect and clean hulls, change anodes and relaunch in under an hour - a service which cannot be matched by any shore based crane or travel lift.
Sealift2 enables you to offer fast cleaning, diagnostic and surveying services whilst optimising the use of existing, shore based facilities for longer term jobs such as re-fits and engine replacements - a combination that will attract more boat owners to your marina and increase customer satisfaction levels.
The fast speed of operation gives a high throughput of boats (10+ boats/day) which delivers an excellent return on investment.
